This cute boy is five years of age. Him and his brothers were rescued as pups and have been looking for homes all their lives. Being a German Shepherd mix, he is very focused and energetic. Five years is nothing when it comes to this boy’s desire to run and play. He likes meeting people and shows interest in other dogs. We wouldn’t recommend a home with cats, but if the foster or adopter is willing to provide training and attention, Leonardo is smart enough to catch on and learn quickly. When we took dogs out of the school, Leonardo and a few others didn’t have a plan. However, there was no way we were going to leave them behind. Leonardo has been boarding since June 6th, and still has no foster, no rescue interest, no plan. It’s funny how a dog can wait five years for a home and still have the strength to keep looking.
